About:
After completing the course, participants will have the necessary skills to make a career shift and start working in a new field, for example as IT support, junior developer, cybersecurity incident handler, IT product owner, data analyst, business analyst, etc.
Participants can choose between six specializations in the Coursera environment: programming, cybersecurity, data analysis, IT support, information systems analysis, and IT project management, all designed specifically for beginners. For those with prior experience in programming (Python) or data analysis, we can offer higher-level courses.
Each specialization consists of an extensive 160–220-hour program on Coursera. After completing the course, participants will have the necessary skills to make a career shift and start working in a new field—for example as IT support, junior developer, cybersecurity incident handler, IT product owner, data analyst, business analyst, etc. It is also possible to advance one’s career in the current field by applying the newly acquired IT knowledge—for example, by managing or supervising IT development projects, developing more secure products and services, or representing the organization as IT procurement specialist.” The selected courses form a solid basis for entering TalTech’s IT programs at both BA and MA levels.
In addition to online IT courses, the program includes four in-person meetings, during which participants will receive guidance on course selection, meet industry experts, and attend a workshop on writing a strong CV and motivation letter.
Coursera access will be available to participants for six months, and courses must be completed according to a set schedule, which will be monitored during interim meetings. Faster learners have the opportunity to take additional Coursera courses on AI, data analysis, and ethical hacking.
